Incident Recovery Lead

As an Incident Recovery Lead, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end management and resolution of Major & critical incidents across Open RAN and cloud-native 5G core infrastructure. Your role will involve owning real-time incident management coordination, orchestrating recovery efforts, and ensuring high service availability in a distributed, virtualized, and automated network environment. **Principal Responsibilities:** - Coordinate cross-domain recovery teams across Open RAN, IP Transport, 5G core, orchestration, and cloud infra (Kubernetes, CNFs/VMs). - Lead incident bridges and war rooms with a structured approach, provide clear technical guidance, and ensure regular customer and stakeholder updates. - Interface with vendors and partners as needed to expedite recovery processes. - Develop and enhance the incident recovery framework, including playbooks, escalation paths, and recovery automation pipelines. - Conduct Post-Incident Reviews (PIRs) with initial Root Cause Analysis (RCA), impact analysis, and actionable remediation plans. - Monitor and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) and network performance during incidents. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives through training sessions, simulation drills, and knowledge sharing to enhance the operational readiness of the incident response team. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security policies during incident handling and data collection. - Provide support for capacity planning and change management processes by offering incident trend analysis and risk assessment insights. **Qualification & Required Skills:** - Bachelor's degree in Telecom/ICT engineering or equivalent, Master's degree will be a plus. - Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in telecommunications network operations, incident management, or network engineering. - Proven track record in managing high-severity incidents in complex, multi-vendor mobile network environments. - Strong knowledge of Open RAN architecture and 5G core networks in cloud-native environments. - Familiarity with Kubernetes, CNFs, container orchestration, and cloud-native infrastructure monitoring tools. - Excellent analytical and root cause analysis skills. - Ability to remain calm under pressure and make decisive decisions in critical situations. - Strong communication and leadership skills with a proven ability to effectively manage a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders.,
