In emerging technology at PwC, you will focus on exploring and implementing cuttingedge technologies to drive innovation and transformation for clients. You will work in areas such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and the internet of things (IoT).

& Summary Java developer

Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Java 3+ and Spring Boot

Implement RESTful APIs and ensure proper API versioning and documentation

Build eventdriven architectures using message queues and streaming platforms

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment

Write comprehensive unit, integration, and contract tests

Mandatory skill sets

34 + years of Java development experience

3+ years handson experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security

Strong understanding of microservices architecture patterns and best practices

Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis)

Experience with message brokers (Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS)

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)

Experience with API gateway technologies

Preferred skill sets

Strong experience with Git version control and branching strategies

Proficiency with build tools (Maven, Gradle)

Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mock frameworks, Test containers )

Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)

Knowledge of monitoring tools ( AppDynamics, Prometheus , Grafana, ELK stack)
