Job Description

As an Institutional Credit Managements (ICM) team member, your role involves providing an integrated end-to-end credit underwriting, identification, measurement, management, monitoring, and reporting for wholesale credit businesses across the enterprise. You are an essential part of Wholesale Credit Risk (WCR) In-Business Quality Assurance (QA) within the ICM organization. Key Responsibilities: - Support the Regional Leads of In-Business QA in implementing and delivering a robust Quality Assurance function. - Provide effective credible challenge during Quality Assurance reviews (QARs) to ensure process adherence and identify weaknesses. - Assist in ensuring effective identification, measurement, monitoring, and control of wholesale credit risks within Citi. - Conduct consistent and objective assessments during QARs, covering Institutional and Commercial Banking. - Follow up on corrective actions raised during QARs and prepare Quality Assurance Reports for management. - Interact with Underwriting and 1LOD functions to ensure quality assurance protocols are adequate for all portfolios. - Contribute to the establishment of WCR In-Business QA policies, procedures, risk assessment, and controls. - Stay informed about relevant changes to rules/regulations and industry news. - Support internal projects and initiatives within the WCR In-Business QA Wholesale Lending Credit Risk. Skills/Competencies: Quality Assurance: - Strong assurance experience in corporate banking, credit risk management, internal audit, or quality assurance review function. - Knowledge of Wholesale Credit Processes, organizational awareness, and understanding of policies and procedures. - Ability to evaluate findings within the Quality Assurance process and partner for ongoing improvement. - Background in core credit analysis for large corporate and finance industries. - High awareness and adherence to the control environment. Leadership: - Strategic orientation to drive best practices and safety within ICM and Citi. - Assisting colleagues in identifying opportunities for performance improvement. - Proven culture carrier. Competencies: - Effective interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence senior levels of management. - Strong organizational skills to manage priorities effectively. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Technical: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Qualifications: - BA/BSc or higher degree in Business (MBA) or related subject.,
