Job Summary

Job Title: Specialist - Import & Export of Chemicals

This involves working with Customs officials, 3rd parties like Customs House Agents and Freight Forwarders

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage Import, Export of Chemicals
• Knowledge of documentation required for Air & Sea Imports
• Knowledge of creating the shipping documents for Export consignments
• Managing lead time and taking care of follow-up with vendors for shipment schedules & shipping document.
• Liaising with CFA & shipping lines for the customs clearance of Import and export movement
• Checking import tariffs & trade agreements for our products from different countries to get duties & other benefits.
• Shipment Bookings, freight negotiations, etc
• Should have good knowledge pertaining to the process of the DROP Shipments
• Should have sound knowledge of IEC guidelines
• Well-versed with customs notifications as per GST regulations
• Should know how to calculate the Custom Duty
• Complete knowledge of INCO TERMS
• Expertise in reading & understanding Custom Tariff
• Should have good knowledge of S.V.B process
• R waiver rules & regulation
• Knowledge of the documents require for Intercompany payments
• Working closely with Finance and Marketing departments

Education/Experience Requirements

The successful candidate must possess the following:

• Graduate or Post Graduate in any discipline The candidate must have the following level of experience in or knowledge of:
• Strong experience in imports, export, and customs
• 7 – 9 years of experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Vapi, Vapi, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
