Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Magento Developer who will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as developing, testing, and maintaining web applications using Magento. This role involves both front-end and back-end development work, ensuring seamless integration of all e-commerce functionalities. The developer will be expected to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions and continuously optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Magento 2-based eCommerce applications.
• Customize Magento 2 themes, extensions, and modules as per project requirements.
• Integrate third-party services, APIs, and payment gateways.
• Optimize website performance, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing Magento installations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure best practices in coding standards, version control, and deployment.
• Perform unit testing and participate in code reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven work experience as a

  Magento 2 Developer

  (2–5 years preferred).
• Strong proficiency in

  PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Knockout.js

• In-depth understanding of

  Magento 2 architecture, themes, modules, and extensions

• Experience with

  REST/SOAP APIs
