Workday Business Analyst - 4+ Years.

(Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai , Pune).

Hybrid ( 3 days to office ).

A Workday Business Analyst is responsible for strategizing, designing, configuring, and maintaining Workday systems to support HR operations and business objectives. This role demands strong analytical, technical, and communication skills as well as a thorough understanding of business and HR processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and convert them to efficient Workday solutions, especially across core HR, compensation, benefits, and reporting modules.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, Finance, and other internal users to ensure Workday meets operational, compliance, and reporting needs.
• Develop and update documentation, including configuration, process changes, and audit logs.
• Perform and lead testing activities: unit, integration, and user acceptance testing for new features or updates.
• Train users and support change management activities for new Workday functionalities.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in IT, HR, Business, or related field; equivalent experience is acceptable.
• Solid understanding of Workday HR functions (HCM, compensation, benefits, security, analytics).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
• 4+ years' experience as a Workday Analyst or similar business analyst role.
• Hands-on experience with Workday configuration and reporting is highly desirable.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and project management capabilities.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience supporting Workday implementations or major upgrades.
• Knowledge of Workday process on these Modules (HCM , Talent and Performance , Absence , Compensation).
• Familiarity with global HR operations, payroll, or finance functionalities in Workday.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Visio, and data analysis tools.
