Image Editor

An Image Editor is responsible for enhancing, retouching, and manipulating photographs and other digital images to meet the desired aesthetic or brand standards. This role involves working with photographers, graphic designers, marketing teams, or clients to ensure that images are visually compelling and meet technical specifications for print, web, or social media use. Key Responsibilities:Edit, retouch, and manipulate digital images to improve overall quality. Adjust image brightness, contrast, saturation, color balance, and sharpness. Remove blemishes, unwanted objects, or imperfections. Optimize images for various formats and platforms (e.g., print, web, social media). Collaborate with photographers, designers, and content creators to understand project needs. Maintain consistent visual style across all images. Organize and manage digital assets, ensuring proper file naming and storage. Stay updated with industry trends and editing software advancements. Required Skills and Competencies:Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, or similar image editing software. Strong eye for detail, composition, and color correction. Understanding of file formats, resolution, and image optimization. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Good communication and collaboration skills. Basic knowledge of photography is a plus.
