IGCSE & IB Chemistry Mentor

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an IGCSE & IB Chemistry Mentor. The Chemistry Mentor will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging lessons, providing individualized support, and preparing students for examinations. Day-to-day tasks include creating lesson plans, assessing student progress, and tailoring instruction to meet diverse learning needs. Additionally, the Chemistry Mentor will collaborate with other educators to enhance the educational experience and lead sessions for key academic programs and competitions.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Chemistry subject matter for IGCSE and IB boards
• Strong instructional and curriculum development skills
• Ability to provide individualized mentorship and academic support
• Experience with exam preparation and assessment techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage remote teaching responsibilities
• Teaching certification or relevant degree in Chemistry or Education is a plus
• Proven track record of student success in academic competitions is advantageous
