IFRS Group Accountant

Job Title : (Senior) IFRS Group Accountant (m/w/d)

Job Location : Gurgaon

We are currently hiring for one of our global clients for IFRS implementation and consolidation.

Responsibilities:

• Implement IFRS consolidated financial statements for our medium sized group of companies
• Implement a reporting tool for group consolidation processes
• Prepare IFRS consolidated financial statements for our group of companies
• Lead with group reporting processes including consolidation entries, intercompany eliminations,
• and financial disclosures
• Lead subsidiaries transition of local GAAP to IFRS
• Prepare technical accounting memos, documentation and accounting guidelines
• Advise subsidiaries on technical IFRS issues, including new standard implementation and ac-
• counting policy alignment
• Point of contact for external group auditors

Profile:

• Professional qualification in accounting (e.g. ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent) and degree in ac-
• counting.
• Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in accounting
• At least 3 years’ experience in IFRS group accounting, in a consolidation or accounting advisory
• role and proven experience in preparing consolidated financial statements under IFRS
• Solid understanding of IFRS, including recent developments and their practical application
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with consolidation/reporting tools (e.g. LucaNet, Tagetik, or simi-
• lar)
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and to set up new processes in an organization
• Excellent communication skills in English
