Job Description:

Designs, tests, and implements secure operating systems, networks, security monitoring, tuning and management of IT security systems and applications. Conducts accurate evaluation of the level of security required.
Conducts risk and vulnerability assessment at the network, system, cloud and application level.
Conducts threat modelling exercises. Develops and implements security controls and formulates operational risk mitigations along with assisting in security awareness programs.
Involved in a wide range of security management including architectures, security gateways and network access control.
Researches, evaluates and recommends new security tools, techniques, and technologies and introduces them to the enterprise in alignment with DT security strategy.
Prepares security reports to regulatory agencies. Audits and manages access management.
Performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.
Subject Matter Expert on all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.
Provides subject matter expert support for domain structures, user authentication, digital signatures, governance, provisioning, authentication, authorization, identity administration, virtual directories, web access management, federation, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
May support incident response, digital forensics, loss prevention, and eDiscovery actions.

Ability to help employees and contractors understand their role in safeguarding information, technology and services by being an ambassador. Assist and show where policies, processes and procedures can be found and explain why they should be followed.
Researches and tracks current and impeding laws, regulations and industry requirements and best practices, such as data protection, data privacy, cyber security and information security. Translates requirements into practical solutions, and coordinates improvement plans.
Provides tier three and security support services for the enterprise. This includes timely resolution of ServiceNow tickets. Participates in the on-call rotation.
Performs detailed troubleshooting in support of system remediation efforts
Supports complex operational tasks that are assigned as part of project implementation. Serves as project lead for small to medium projects of moderate complexity
Organize and coordinate activities of team members to complete security team deliverables for projects.
Considered a Subject Matter Expert in at least one area and considered a domain generalist in multiple areas, including a moderate understanding of information security knowledge in the assigned areas.
Mentor information security and project teams in the utilization of the appropriate Collins DT security controls and tools during solution development, thus increasing solution compliance, confidentiality, integrity, and availability and improving customer satisfaction.
May design, develop, test, integrate and document information security solutions of low to moderate complexity, Apply and tailor internal processes, using knowledge of methods and tools for security controls, software development and documentation efforts. Ensure that IT solutions are designed to meet the applicable Legal/Regulatory, RC governance, and confidentiality, integrity and availability requirements.

Should Have:

Passion for Information security & willing to consistently learn emerging technologies.
Experience working & troubleshooting in complex Windows & Linux environments.
Knowledge of Collins DT Security policies & procedures.
Knowledge of various security frameworks such as NIST 800-53 / NIST 800-171 / ISO27001.
Knowledge of server/system/storage architectures and network design.
Scripting languages VBScript or PowerShell or Python.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Good to have:

Relevant industry certifications: CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacking or any renowned certification in the Information security discipline.
