Experience Required

2 - 5 years in teaching, preferably with experience in IB PYP Schools

Gender Preference

Education / Qualifications

• B.Ed degree (required)
• Preferably additional qualification or training in IB PYP (Category 1 or 2 training desirable)
• Strong competence in English (spoken & written)
• Ability to differentiate instruction and work with mixed ability groups

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver high quality, inquiry-based lessons in accordance with the IB PYP framework
• Foster the holistic development of students (academic, social, emotional, cultural) through student-centered approaches
• Assess student progress using formative & summative assessments; provide feedback and set targets for students
• Maintain and update student records—portfolios, reports, etc.
• Collaborate with PYP Coordinator, Head of Primary, and other teachers to design, implement, and review units of inquiry and transdisciplinary themes
• Communicate with parents regularly about student progress, behavior, and well-being
• Contribute to extra-curricular activities, school events (assemblies, exhibitions, etc.)
• Use appropriate teaching aids, ICT tools, and inclusive methods to support learners with different needs
• Maintain a safe, respectful, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
