IB MYP Maths Teacher

As a Mathematics Teacher for our International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP), you will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Delivering engaging and inquiry-based Mathematics lessons in alignment with the IB MYP framework. - Designing unit plans, assessments, and learning activities according to IB guidelines. - Maintaining accurate student records, preparing reports, and providing timely feedback. - Utilizing IB tools like ManageBac for effective planning and assessment. - Fostering critical thinking, international-mindedness, and student-centered learning. - Collaborating with colleagues for interdisciplinary planning and professional development. - Regularly communicating with parents and guardians regarding student progress. Qualifications & Requirements: - Bachelors or Masters Degree in Mathematics or related field. - B.Ed qualification is mandatory. - Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP). - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. - Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities. - Proficiency with educational technology and digital platforms. Desirable Qualities: - IB training or certification (MYP category training). - Familiarity with international education best practices. - Passion for holistic education and student development. Please note: This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule and the work location is in person.
