IB MYP Maths Teacher

As a Mathematics Teacher in our International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP), you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inquiry-based Mathematics lessons that are aligned with the IB MYP framework. Your key responsibilities will include designing unit plans, assessments, and learning activities using IB guidelines, maintaining accurate student records, and providing timely feedback. Utilizing IB tools such as ManageBac for planning and assessment will be essential in your role. You will be expected to foster critical thinking, international-mindedness, and student-centered learning while collaborating with colleagues in interdisciplinary planning and professional development. Regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress is also a crucial aspect of this position. To be considered for this role, you should possess a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Mathematics or a related field, along with a mandatory B.Ed qualification. A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, strong classroom management, and student engagement abilities are essential. Proficiency with educational technology and digital platforms is also expected. Desirable qualities for this position include IB training or certification (MYP category training), familiarity with international education best practices, and a passion for holistic education and student development.
