IB MYP Faculty

As the Math and Physics Teacher, your role involves designing and delivering engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the IB MYP framework. You will plan, prepare, and implement units of inquiry and interdisciplinary projects to foster conceptual understanding among students. It is essential to integrate real-world applications, promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and reflection. Your key responsibilities include: - Assessing student learning using a variety of formative and summative assessment tools aligned with IB assessment criteria. - Maintaining accurate records of student progress and providing timely, constructive feedback to students and parents. - Collaborating with subject teams and the MYP Coordinator to ensure vertical and horizontal alignment across grades. - Participating actively in curriculum planning, review, and professional learning communities. - Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports diverse learners. - Supporting students" personal and academic development in accordance with the IB Learner Profile. - Engaging in ongoing professional development and contributing to school-wide initiatives and events. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Education, or related field. - Teaching certification or license. - Experience teaching in an IB MYP or similar program is preferred but not mandatory.
