Role Overview: You will be responsible for teaching IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) Physics, Chemistry, or Biology at Standard Level (SL) and/or Higher Level (HL). Your role will involve planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the IB Diploma Programme curriculum, designing internal assessments, preparing students for IB examinations, monitoring student progress, providing feedback, supporting academic and personal development, and actively contributing to the IB philosophy. Key Responsibilities: - Teach IBDP Physics, Chemistry, or Biology at SL and/or HL levels. - Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the IB curriculum. - Use various instructional strategies to cater to diverse learner needs. - Design and assess internal assessments following IB guidelines. - Prepare students for external IB examinations. - Monitor and track student progress, offering timely feedback. - Support students' academic and personal growth through mentoring. - Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. - Contribute to IB philosophy, ATL, and learner profile attributes. - Participate in curriculum planning, department meetings, and school events. - Engage in IB professional development and stay updated with subject-specific information. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree or higher in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or related field. - Teaching qualification/certification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent). - Experience in teaching IBDP Physics, Chemistry, or Biology. - IB training and workshops in the relevant subject. - Experience in teaching both SL and HL levels. - Experience in international or multicultural school environments.
