Job Title: IAM Engineer

Job Summary: As an IAM Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, implementation, and maintenance of the organizations Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems. You will collaborate with infrastructure, application, and support teams to ensure secure, seamless access across the enterprise. Your work will focus on building approval workflows, implementing access controls, and consolidating identity solutions into a unified and scalable platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a centralized identity solution to serve as the authoritative source of truth for user access across all enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and helpdesk teams to ensure a smooth and secure IAM deployment.
• Develop and configure user approval workflows that align with business requirements and compliance standards.
• Implement access gating actions, including self-service capabilities and automation features to streamline provisioning.
• Lead the integration and consolidation of disparate identity systems into a unified IAM platform.
• Document the architecture, processes, and workflows to support ongoing operations and enhancements.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management roles, preferably with experience leading or architecting IAM initiatives.
• Proficiency in IAM features including Lifecycle Management (LCM), Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA).
• Experience integrating IAM platforms with enterprise systems such as Active Directory, Office 365, HR systems (e.g., Oracle HCM), CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), IT infrastructure (e.g., Cisco, NetApp, VMware), and custom applications.
• Strong understanding of IAM principles, including RBAC, least privilege, and zero trust models.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing access workflows and approval processes.
• Ability to manage and execute complex IAM projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with application security, compliance requirements, and ICAM systems.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications in IAM technologies (e.g., Certified Identity and Access Manager, CISSP, or vendor-specific IAM certifications).
• Experience in consolidating legacy identity systems into a modern, centralized IAM platform.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
