Hydrographic Survey Expert

Key Responsibilities

  • Hydrographic Surveys

    : Conduct detailed

    bathymetric surveys

  • Survey Planning & Execution

    : Plan and execute hydrographic survey work, ensuring accurate data collection for design, construction, and environmental assessments of marine and port infrastructure.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting

    : Analyze survey data and generate

    reports

    ,

    maps

    , and

    charts

    for stakeholders, providing crucial information for project design, dredging, and coastal protection.
  • Survey Equipment Operation

    : Operate and maintain advanced hydrographic survey equipment, including

    echo sounders

    ,

    multibeam sonar systems

    ,

    GPS

    , and

    total stations

    .
  • Collaboration

    : Work closely with engineers, environmental specialists, and project managers to integrate survey data into

    port development plans

    and

    coastal protection strategies

  • Quality Control & Compliance

    : Ensure all survey work meets industry standards,

    accuracy requirements

    regulatory guidelines

    for port and marine construction projects.
  • Health & Safety

    : Adhere to safety protocols during field surveys, ensuring safe operation in challenging marine environments.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience

    in

    hydrographic surveying

    , particularly in

    port and coastal infrastructure

    projects.
  • Survey Recorder Class I or Class II qualification

    (mandatory).
  • Extensive knowledge of

    surveying methods

    bathymetric surveys

    marine geospatial analysis

  • Proficiency in

    CARIS
