Job Description

As an HVAC System Design & Development Engineer, your role will involve designing and developing HVAC system parts for Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and related interior components. You will be responsible for vehicle level integration and evaluation of HVAC system components, ensuring compliance with program schedules and regulations. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing HVAC system parts for ICE according to program timelines - Layout of HVAC system components in cabin and engine rooms - Understanding specifications, testing, and evaluating HVAC system parts - Conducting vehicle level evaluations as per program schedules - Monitoring costs and weights at part and sub-system levels - Planning and implementing countermeasures based on design reviews, quality feedback, and testing results - Coordinating with business partners for part development - Analyzing quality issues from production and the market In terms of technical and functional requirements, you should have experience in HVAC system parts design and development, heat load calculations, quality issue analysis, 3D modeling, 2D drawing, manufacturing processes, and costing functions. You should also have hands-on experience in testing at both part and vehicle levels. Specific expertise required for this role includes experience in HVAC systems design and development with automotive OEMs, as well as proficiency in CAD modeling software, preferably Unigraphics.,
