HVAC Design & Site Engineer

Job Summary

The HVAC Design & Site Engineer is responsible for the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems for residential, commercial, or industrial projects. This role involves preparing detailed HVAC designs, supervising site execution, coordinating with other disciplines, and ensuring that systems meet design specifications, safety standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design Responsibilities

• Develop detailed

  HVAC system designs

  , including Heat load calculations, duct layouts, equipment selection, and control systems using software such as

  HAP, AutoCAD

  .
• Prepare and review

  Shop/Section drawings, schematics, and specifications,TDS

  .
• Ensure designs comply with

  ASHRAE, SMACNA, ISHRAE, and local building codes

  .
• Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, and structural teams for integrated MEP design.
• Prepare

  BOQ (Bill of Quantities), cost estimates, and technical submittals

  .
• Provide technical support during the

  tendering and procurement process

  .
• If required should be able to go on site for measurement and Coordination.

Site Responsibilities

• Supervise

  installation, testing, and commissioning

  of HVAC equipment (AHUs, FCUs, chillers, VRV/VRF systems, ducting, and piping).
• Verify that installations are as per

  approved drawings and specifications

  .
• Conduct

  site inspections, quality checks, and safety compliance reviews

  .
• Troubleshoot and resolve

  technical issues

  on-site.
• Liaise with

  consultants, contractors, and clients

  for approvals and coordination.
• Maintain

  project documentation

  , progress reports, and site records.
• Ensure timely

  completion and handover

  of HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with

  project management and site supervision

  .
• Excellent

  communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills

  .
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
