About the Role

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer

Key Responsibilities

Implement and monitor HSE programs and ensure adherence to all regulatory standards.
Lead risk assessments, incident investigations, and environmental monitoring activities.
Support certification audits (IMS, BSC FSA, Business Continuity MS).
Collaborate with operations and cross-functional teams to promote health, safety, and environmental awareness.
Ensure continuous improvement in safety performance and compliance with ISO and local regulations.

Required Skills & Knowledge

Strong understanding of Safety Management Systems (SMS), ISO standards & compliance frameworks.
Expertise in risk management, permit-to-work systems, and environmental impact assessments.
Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in MS Office; multi-lingual abilities are an advantage.

Certifications Preferred

IOSH – Managing Safely
NEBOSH – Health & Safety at Work Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent
