Position: HSE Officer Location: Plot No. 6 & 7, New Chennai Township, Seekinankuppam Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Kancheepuram, TN - 603302 Work Type: On-site (Work From Office) Eligibility Criteria: Education: M.E in Industrial Safety Certifications: Safety certifications such as NEBOSH , etc. Experience: Must have a manufacturing industry background with a strong focus on health and safety practices. Key Responsibilities: 1. Health & Safety Policy Implementation Develop, implement, and enforce health & safety policies and procedures in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory standards. Conduct routine risk assessments and safety audits to proactively identify and mitigate potential hazards in the workplace. 2. Training & Awareness Organize and conduct regular safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and workshops. Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring all employees are aware of and comply with established safety protocols and best practices. 3. Incident Management Investigate workplace incidents and accidents thoroughly, document findings, and recommend preventive/corrective measures. Maintain comprehensive records of incidents, near misses, and safety-related non-conformities. 4. Emergency Preparedness Develop and periodically review emergency response and disaster management plans. Coordinate and lead fire drills, evacuation exercises, and other emergency preparedness training programs. Ideal Candidate Traits: Detail-oriented with excellent observational and analytical skills. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Ability to take proactive measures and lead safety initiatives across teams.
