KeyResponsibilities

SafetyManagement–Plant Field

• Conductsafetyaudits,inspections,andriskassessmentsatmanufacturingunitsandprojectsites.
• Identifyunsafeconditions,practices,andrecommendcorrective/preventiveactions.
• EnforceuseofproperPPE,safetysignage,andtoolsasperjobandsiteconditions.
• EnsureLockout/Tagout(LOTO)proceduresduringelectricalpanelassembly,testing,andinstallation work.
• Compliance Documentation
• MaintaincompliancewithstatutorysafetyregulationssuchasFactories Act,Electricity Act,ISO 45001, and other applicable laws.
• Prepare and maintain safety-related documentation such as incident reports, near-miss logs, safety checklists, toolbox talk records, etc.
• Leadandsupportinternalandexternalaudits(ISO,customer,statutory).
• Training Awareness
• Planandconductsafetyinductions,toolboxtalks,mockdrills,andrefreshertrainingforplantandfield teams.
• Promotesafetyculturethroughawarenesscampaigns,posters,andcelebrationsofsafety week/month.
• IncidentReporting Investigation
• Leadinvestigationsforallincidents,accidents,andnear-misses.
• Preparerootcauseanalysis(RCA)reportsandensureeffectiveimplementationofcorrectiveactions.
• EnvironmentalManagement
• Monitorwaste disposal,water usage, and environmentalcompliance in coordinationwith facility and utility teams.
• Coordinatewithpollutioncontrolboard(ifapplicable)andotherenvironmentalregulatorybodies.

• StrongknowledgeofHSElawsandpracticesintheelectrical/equipmentmanufacturingand installation industry.
• Hands-onexperienceinhazardidentification,riskassessment,andincidentinvestigation.
• Goodcommunicationandtrainingskillstointeractacrossdepartmentsandprojectteams.
• Abilitytotraveltoprojectsites(fieldservicelocations)asneeded.
• Computerliteracy(MSOffice,SafetyAudittools,etc.)
  

Qualifications Experience

• Bachelor’sDegreeinEngineering(Electrical/Mechanicalpreferred)orScience.
• DiplomainIndustrialSafety/PostGraduateinHSEorequivalentmandatory.
• 5–8yearsofexperienceinHSEroles,preferablyin anmanufacturingindustry(switchgear,electrical panels, EPC or related industries)
