POSITION SUMMARY

Analyst, HR Insights

Working closely with the HR Insights team and business stakeholders, the analyst will ensure accuracy, consistency, and scalability of HR data while contributing to ongoing reporting automation and process optimization efforts. This role is ideal for a technically driven professional experienced in Oracle Cloud reporting who can operate in a fast-paced, project-oriented environment and deliver high-quality, reliable analytics outputs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, test, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data models within Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) to support HR reporting and analytics needs.
  • Support the migration of existing reports and datasets from OTBI, BIP, and legacy tools into FDI, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business requirements.
  • Manage and troubleshoot data pipelines, metrics, and data flows across FDI, Oracle HCM, and the enterprise data warehouse to ensure timely and reliable updates.
  • Collaborate with HR Insights team members to document reporting logic, metrics definitions, and process steps for all deliverables.
  • Execute data validation, reconciliation, and testing activities to maintain data quality and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Track, manage, and follow up on tickets and change requests, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation of outcomes.
  • Build and deliver recurring and ad-hoc HR reports (e.g., headcount, turnover, diversity) in FDI, Power BI, or OTBI as required.
  • Identify and propose automation or process improvement opportunities to enhance reporting efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Ensure all work adheres to data governance, security, and confidentiality standards when handling HR data.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) or Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) in a hands-on reporting or analytics role.
  • Strong technical skills in data modeling, validation, and dashboard/report creation within FDI, Power BI, or similar BI tools.
  • Solid understanding of Oracle HCM data structures, including workforce, talent, and organization data.
  • Ability to perform data extraction, transformation, and testing with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Experience managing reporting tickets, documentation, and change requests in a structured, process-driven environment.
  • Comfortable working on multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced setting with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to translate technical findings into clear outputs for non-technical users.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to challenges.
  • Familiarity with data governance, security, and privacy standards related to HR data.
