Job Description

Job Title:

Job Purpose:

To lead and manage the HR function for the organization with a clear focus on supporting manpower and compliance needs of project sites and office teams within the construction industry. The HR Head will drive recruitment, policy implementation, statutory compliance, and employee engagement aligned with site-based operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Align HR strategies with company objectives and ongoing construction projects.
  • Forecast and fulfill manpower requirements across multiple project locations.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Deployment

  • Lead recruitment for technical and non-technical rolesengineers, supervisors, site admins, etc.
  • Coordinate with project managers and vendors for skilled and unskilled labor deployment.
  • Maintain a database of site workers and contractor teams.

HR Operations & Statutory Compliance

  • Implement HR policies relevant to site operations.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws (PF, ESIC, CLRA, minimum wages, etc.).
  • Conduct audits of muster rolls, contractor records, and site documentation.

Performance Management

  • Drive KRA/KPI-based appraisal systems for HO and site-level staff.
  • Maintain performance records and handle confirmations, promotions, and corrective actions.

Payroll & Attendance

  • Oversee timely and accurate payroll processing for HO and site employees.
  • Ensure overtime, incentives, and leave management are properly documented.

Employee Engagement & Grievance Handling

  • Handle grievances of site workers and HO staff in coordination with project teams.
  • Support welfare initiativesaccommodation, safety, facilities for workers.

Qualifications:

  • MBA in HR / PGDHRM or equivalent.
  • 510 years of experience

    , preferably in

    construction, real estate, or infrastructure

    sector.

Key Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of construction labor compliance and site HR handling.
  • Experience managing site-based and mobile workforces.
  • Hands-on with payroll software, Excel, and HRMS tools. Farvision Payroll Software will be plus
  • Excellent people management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects.
