Job Summary – Housekeeping Trainee

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Trainee to join our hotel team. In this entry-level role, you will learn and assist with maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest comfort throughout the property. Under the guidance of the housekeeping supervisor, you will gain hands-on training in room cleaning procedures, use of cleaning equipment, guest interaction, and teamwork within the hotel environment. This position is ideal for candidates looking to start their career in hospitality and develop skills in professional housekeeping operations.

• · Make beds and change linens
• · Clean bathroom and replace amenities
• · Dust, vacuum and mop floor
• · Replenish guest supplies
• · Report maintenance issue
• · Clean lobby ,corridors and elevators
• · Polish furniture ,glass, and fixtures
• · Attend daily briefing
• · Participate in departmental training
• · Greet guest politely
• · Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality.

Requirements

• No prior experience required – full training provided
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is an advantage but not necessary
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Basic understanding of cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain productivity standards
• Positive attitude, reliability, and a guest-focused approach
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Punctual and committed to attendance and training schedules
• Professional appearance and grooming
