Housekeeping Supervisor

As a Housekeeping Executive/Supervisor, your role involves overseeing the daily operations to ensure the rooms and public areas are well-maintained and meet quality standards. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities: - Supplies rooms with all amenities and linens - Checks hotel rooms, hallways, linen rooms, and employee storage areas as directed - Vacuums and cleans carpeted areas and behind furniture - Maintains workstation and stocks it with necessary supplies - Fills out daily housekeeping reports - Handles lost and found items appropriately - Greets guests with proper salutations - Reports safety hazards and maintenance issues promptly - Cleans and maintains all equipment used during the shift In terms of guest experience, you will be responsible for handling escalations and complaints efficiently, maintaining positive relationships with guests and staff, and ensuring a pleasant stay for all. Your leadership and training responsibilities include ensuring optimal performance from housekeeping staff, training and motivating them, maintaining discipline, and implementing checklists and work routines. Conducting training sessions at the property level is also part of your role. Qualifications required for this position include: - Hotel Management Graduate - Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the housekeeping department - Good communication skills and pleasing personality - Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office - Positive attitude, supporting others, taking ownership, and showing responsibility beyond prescribed duties This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits such as health insurance.
