Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensure cleanliness standards, manage staff, and maintain a hygienic environment across the hospital premises.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping staff and allocate daily duties
• Ensure all hospital areas (wards, OPD, ICU, offices, washrooms) are cleaned as per standards
• Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and infection-control protocols
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and work areas
• Train and guide housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures and safety standards
• Maintain cleaning supplies, stock records, and request materials when required
• Handle staff attendance, shift planning, and performance monitoring
• Address patient/departmental complaints related to housekeeping
• Coordinate with nursing, administration, and maintenance teams for smooth operations
• Ensure timely waste disposal and adherence to biomedical waste guidelines

Required Qualifications

• 12th pass or graduate (preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in housekeeping supervision (hospital experience preferred)
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and hygiene standards
