About the Role:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Blood Bank Technician to join our laboratory team. In this role, you’ll perform testing, processing, and preparation of blood and blood components to ensure safe and timely transfusions for patients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform blood typing, crossmatching, and antibody screening.
• Prepare, label, and issue blood products for transfusion.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Monitor inventory and quality control of blood products.
• Communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding transfusion needs.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred.
• 1+ year of blood bank or laboratory experience (new grads welcome).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
