Housekeeping Supervisor

Requirements

• Two-Wheeler Mandatory
• Experience in housekeeping, preferably in restaurants, hotels, or the hospitality industry
• Minimum 1 year in a supervisory role
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is an advantage
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities
• Good knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and restaurant hygiene practices
• Attention to detail and high cleanliness standards
• Ability to resolve complaints effectively and politely
• Organisational and time-management skills
• Basic knowledge of MS Office for reporting

Job Description

• Supervise housekeeping staff and allocate daily cleaning tasks across the restaurant
• Ensure dining areas, restrooms, kitchen support zones, and staff areas are cleaned and sanitised as per standards
• Monitor cleaning procedures and ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, and restaurant hygiene standards
• Inspect high-footfall areas frequently to maintain guest comfort and restaurant image
• Maintain an adequate stock of cleaning materials, chemicals, and consumables; raise requisitions on time
• Train housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, hygiene standards, chemical usage, and safety
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth restaurant operations
• Maintain cleaning schedules and checklists for all areas of the restaurant
• Ensure housekeeping equipment is in good working condition; report maintenance needs promptly
• Prepare duty rosters, monitor attendance, and manage overtime/leave for the housekeeping team
