1. Conduct briefing and allot duties at the beginning of the shift.
2. Lead, train and motivate the team in a shift.
3. Inspect OPDs, wards, rooms/Public area to ensure standards are maintained.
4. Organize and direct various sub-activities of the department.
5. Ensure that policies, systems, procedures and standards are followed and recommend changes, if any.
6. Ensure safety and hygiene of the housekeeping staff.
7. Recommend staff rotations and organize extra hands when required.
8. Maintain discipline and train staff.
9. Ensure proper coordination with all the departments, especially Engineering, Laundry, Food and Beverage and Front Office.
10. Supervise the periodic schedule of Pest Control, Night Cleaning Schedules, and Floor Polishing Schedules.
11. Ensure proper record keeping.
12. Ensure that all housekeeping assets like- equipment, linen and consumables are used and stored properly to prolong their life.
Direct Reports – Vendor Site Managers, GDA/Housekeeping Staff.
