Housekeeping Room Attendant

Key Responsibilities

Guest Rooms & Public Areas

• Clean and reset occupied/vacant rooms as per sequence of service (dusting, bed-making, bathroom, replenishments, vacuum/mopping).
• Replace amenity set-ups; check minibar/snack inventory if applicable and record consumption.
• Report maintenance issues (A/C, plumbing, electrical) via job cards/PMS.
• Manage turndown service and special requests (extra bed, baby cot, allergy-sensitive setup).
• Maintain corridors, service pantries, and assigned public areas.

Linen & Inventory

• Collect, sort, and count linen; record soiled/clean tallies and report damages.
• Control usage of chemicals and supplies; follow dilution/SDS guidelines.
• Handle and report breakages, lost & found (log, tag, handover per SOP).
• Safety, Hygiene & Compliance
• Follow PPE, chemical handling, and color-coding protocols.
• Adhere to infection control, pest awareness, and waste segregation (dry/wet/recyclables).
• Comply with fire safety, first-aid basics, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain personal grooming and hygiene standards.

Operations & Coordination

• Attend briefings; collect keys, devices, and checklists; update room status on PMS/mobile device.
• Coordinate with Front Office for room priority, rush rooms, VIP setups.
• Participate in deep-cleaning schedules, mattress turning, and periodic tasks.
• Support inventory counts and annual stock takes for linen/OS&E.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
