Housekeeping Room Attendant

The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of guest rooms and public areas. The role ensures that every guest experiences a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and arrange guest rooms according to hotel standards.
• Make beds, replace linens, restock amenities, and ensure proper room setup.
• Clean bathrooms thoroughly, including fixtures, tiles, mirrors, and floors.
• Maintain cleanliness of corridors, service areas, and assigned public spaces.
• Refill housekeeping trolleys and ensure sufficient stock of supplies.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or lost & found items immediately.
• Follow all safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols.
• Assist with laundry operations when required.
• Handle guest requests with courtesy and efficiency.
• Support deep-cleaning schedules and spring-cleaning tasks.
• Ensure timely room turnovers to support smooth front-office operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous housekeeping/hotel experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic communication skills and professional grooming standards.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
