Housekeeping Manager

The Westin Sohna Resort & Spa is looking for a dedicated individual to join their team as a Housekeeping & Laundry Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily shift operations of Housekeeping, Recreation/Health Club, and Laundry departments. Your primary duties will include ensuring that guestrooms, public spaces, and employee areas are clean and well-maintained, conducting inspections, and holding employees accountable for corrective actions. Your focus will be on ensuring guest and employee satisfaction while also maintaining the operating budget. To be successful in this role, you should have a high school diploma or GED along with at least 2 years of experience in housekeeping or a related professional area. Alternatively, a 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major will be considered with no work experience required. Your core work activities will include managing housekeeping operations and budgets by verifying guest room status, inspecting guestrooms daily, preparing work assignments, and supervising an effective inspection program. You will also be responsible for conducting human resources activities such as training new room attendants, scheduling employees, and maintaining open and collaborative relationships with the team. Additionally, you will be expected to ensure exceptional customer service by setting a positive example for guest relations, emphasizing guest satisfaction, and responding to and resolving guest problems and complaints. Your role will also involve participating in the development and implementation of corrective action plans to improve guest satisfaction.
