Housekeeping Executive

Housekeeping Executive is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping department on an assigned shift or section (e.g., Guest Floors, Public Areas). This role ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and guest comfort are consistently achieved, while managing staff productivity and training.

Responsibilities

1. Operational Oversight:

   Manage and supervise the daily workflow of

   Housekeeping Supervisors

   and

   Room Attendants

   , coordinating staff deployment, ensuring all daily assignments (rooms, public areas, linen distribution) are completed efficiently.

2. Quality Control:

   Conduct frequent, detailed

   inspections

   of cleaned guest rooms, suites, and public areas, ensuring impeccable hygiene and strict compliance with hotel and brand standards.

3. Training & Development:

   Conduct and coordinate

   on-the-job training

   sessions for staff on advanced cleaning techniques, chemical safety, equipment use, and refined guest interaction protocols.

4. Inventory & Cost Control:

   Monitor and control departmental expenses by managing the accurate usage of linen, guest supplies, and cleaning chemicals, and implementing strategies to minimize

   wastage

   and breakage.

5. Room Status & Coordination:

   Act as the primary liaison with the Front Office, ensuring

   accurate and real-time room status updates

   in the Property Management System (PMS) and smooth execution of VIP and special requests.

6. Maintenance & Safety:

   Promptly log and follow up on all necessary

   maintenance and repair work

   with the Engineering department. Ensure all staff adhere to safety protocols and the handling of

   Lost & Found

   is managed securely.
