Housekeeping Associate

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall upkeep of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas. The role ensures that guests experience a comfortable and well-maintained environment during their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and service guest rooms as per hotel standards (bed making, dusting, vacuuming, replenishing amenities, bathroom cleaning).
• Maintain cleanliness of corridors, public areas, and service areas.
• Replenish linen, towels, and guest supplies on a daily basis.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or lost & found items to the supervisor.
• Ensure trolleys and cleaning equipment are well-stocked and maintained.
• Follow hygiene, safety, and grooming standards at all times.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
• Assist in laundry operations when required.
• Support housekeeping team during peak operations (banquets, events, high occupancy).

Skills & Competencies:

• Attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Good physical stamina and ability to work long shifts.
• Basic communication skills.
• Guest service orientation with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma in Hotel Management (preferred).
• 0–2 years of housekeeping experience (freshers may be considered).
• Prior experience in hospitality is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹13,000.00 per month
