Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities Managing the cleaning of auditoriums, lobbies, restrooms, and concession areas. Ensuring that theaters are cleaned between showings, including seat cleaning, floor vacuuming, and waste disposal. Assigning staff to clean and maintain different areas of the theater. Ensuring that cleaning tasks are completed promptly, especially during quick turnovers between movie screenings or live performances. Overseeing the cleaning of upholstered seating, carpets, and other specialized areas. Managing deep cleaning tasks, such as carpet shampooing or upholstery cleaning, during off-peak hours. Ensuring that restrooms are clean, stocked, and functional at all times, particularly during peak showtimes. Addressing any plumbing issues or other maintenance needs promptly. Managing waste disposal from concession stands, theaters, and public areas. Ensuring that trash bins are emptied regularly and that the theater is free from litter, especially after showings. Handling customer complaints or concerns regarding cleanliness. Ensuring that the theater provides a clean and comfortable environment for patrons. Managing the inventory of cleaning supplies and ensuring they are replenished as needed. Coordinating with suppliers to order and receive cleaning products and equipment. Qualification: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. However, having a bachelor's degree or higher in hospitality management, hotel management, or a related field can be advantageous, especially for senior-level positions.
