Hotel Room Sales

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Assistant Room Sales Manager to support the sales team in driving room revenue and achieving occupancy targets. The role involves developing strong client relationships, implementing sales strategies, and coordinating with various departments to ensure guest satisfaction and maximize revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Room Sales Manager in developing and executing sales plans to achieve revenue and occupancy goals.
• Identify, target, and build relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and MICE partners.
• Handle room sales inquiries, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts to maximize conversion rates.
• Support in managing existing accounts and developing new business opportunities.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer needs to adapt strategies accordingly.
• Coordinate with reservations, front office, and revenue teams to ensure smooth execution of bookings.
• Participate in sales calls, trade shows, and promotional events to represent the hotel.
• Track sales performance, prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports, and share insights with management.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior sales team members as required.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of hotel room sales, corporate accounts, and travel trade.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Good understanding of revenue management and upselling techniques.
• Proficiency in hotel sales & reservation systems (e.g., OPERA, IDS, MARSHA).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in hotel sales/reservations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Prior experience with reputed hotels/resorts preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
