Job Description

Key responsibilities

Safety and security:
Enforce hostel rules and regulations consistently.
Ensure the safety and security of all residents and the premises.
Manage access and conduct disciplinary actions for rule violations.
Handle emergencies and crisis situations effectively.
Resident support and management:
Address student concerns, provide guidance, and offer counseling.
Maintain attendance records and manage resident registers.
Act as a liaison between students, parents/guardians, and institutional administration.
Report serious cases of indiscipline to the appropriate authorities.
Operational and administrative tasks:
Oversee day-to-day hostel operations, such as cleaning and maintenance.
Supervise staff, including performance and training.
Manage hostel facilities and coordinate repairs.
Ensure the quality of services like the mess and handle related grievances.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Community and events:
Organize recreational and social activities to promote a positive community environment.
Foster social harmony and good order among residents.
