Hostel Warden

We are seeking a responsible and dedicated Hostel Warden to oversee the day-to-day administration, discipline, and overall management of the institute’s hostel. This is a residential role, requiring the candidate to stay on campus and be available 24 hours, 7 days a week for hostel-related matters.
Food and hostel accommodation will be provided by the institute on a sharing basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth functioning and discipline within the hostel premises.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and hygienic living environment for students.
• Monitor student attendance, movements, and compliance with hostel rules.
• Handle emergencies, conflicts, and any issues related to student welfare.
• Coordinate with security, housekeeping, maintenance, and administration teams.
• Maintain records of hostel occupancy, inventory, repairs, and student grievances.
• Supervise daily routines such as meal timings, cleanliness checks, and night rounds.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for students and parents regarding hostel concerns.
• Enforce hostel policies and report incidents to management promptly.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate in any discipline; prior experience as a Hostel Warden preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and supervisory skills.
• Ability to handle students calmly and professionally.
• Problem-solving attitude with a sense of responsibility and integrity.
• Physically fit and mentally prepared for round-the-clock monitoring.
