A. Administration & Hostel Management Allot rooms and maintain up-to-date records of residents. Supervise day-to-day functioning of the hostel. Enforce hostel rules, regulations, and code of conduct. B. Safety & Security Monitor entry/exit of residents and visitors. Ensure functioning of security systems (CCTV, guards, registers). Handle emergencies promptly and report to higher authorities. C. Maintenance & Infrastructure Oversee cleanliness and hygiene of rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and surroundings. Ensure water, electricity, and internet facilities are functional. Report and coordinate repair/maintenance works. D. Mess & Food Services Supervise quality, hygiene, and timely serving of meals. Plan menus in consultation with students/caterers. Monitor consumption and stock of provisions. E. Student Welfare & Discipline Act as a mentor and provide guidance to residents. Address grievances and maintain a healthy living environment. Organize recreational, cultural, and awareness activities. F. Coordination & Reporting Liaise with parents, college administration, and hostel staff. Maintain attendance, complaints, and health records. Submit periodic reports to the authorities. G. Health & Emergency Support Maintain first-aid facilities. Assist students in medical needs and emergencies. Coordinate with hospitals/clinics when necessary.
