Job Description

Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize restrooms and other hospital areas to ensure patient and employee safety.
Empty waste baskets to eliminate hazards in the hospital.
Replenish soap and paper supplies to maintain hygiene and safety standards.
Change sheets and linens in hospital rooms to meet patients daily needs.
Make patients beds in hospital wards.
Properly store housekeeping equipment and materials, including brushes, brooms, disinfectants, rags, and gloves.
Maintain an inventory of cleaning materials such as brooms, disinfectants, and toilet rolls.
Report issues regarding equipment or facilities, including floors, walls, rusty beds, and windows needing replacement.
Distribute clean towels and bed sheets to patients.
Ensure standard safety precautions are strictly followed in the health facility and cleaning chemicals are used as prescribed.
Maintain cleanliness in storage rooms for medical supplies and ensure essential housekeeping materials are always stocked.
