Job Title: Horticulturist

Department: Landscaping & Site Development

Reports To: Project Manager / Site Head

Experience: Minimum 2–3 Years in Horticulture, Nursery, or Landscaping Projects

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Horticulturist with a background in agriculture or horticulture education. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, planting, and maintenance of flowers, shrubs, and ornamental plants in nurseries and landscaping projects. The candidate should have a strong understanding of soil types, plant suitability, seasonal planning, irrigation control, and coordination with civil and landscape teams to ensure aesthetic and functional outdoor space development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Nursery & Plant Management:

Select suitable plants, shrubs, and flower varieties based on soil, climate, and space.

Monitor nursery activities including plant health, propagation, watering, and pruning.

Prevent over-watering and ensure balanced irrigation cycles across seasons.

Schedule planting cycles in line with project timelines and climate suitability.

2. Soil & Site Evaluation:

Identify soil conditions and recommend treatment or amendment based on plant compatibility.

Work with civil engineers to assess impact of construction materials on plant

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,444.31 - ₹35,000.00 per month
