Horticultural Manager

As a Horticulture Manager for construction projects and real estate, your role will involve overseeing landscape and green area development at construction sites and completed real estate projects. Your responsibilities will include planning, plantation, maintenance, irrigation setup, and ensuring the visual and environmental quality of all landscaped zones within the project. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, design, and supervise landscaping and plantation work for real estate and infrastructure projects. - Manage planting of lawns, trees, shrubs, and seasonal plants as per design and climate suitability. - Prepare BOQs and cost estimates for horticulture and landscaping works. - Coordinate with architects, project managers, and contractors for on-site execution. - Oversee irrigation systems, soil preparation, and use of fertilizers and pesticides. - Maintain plant health and ensure timely replacement of dead or unhealthy plants. - Manage a team of gardeners and site supervisors for upkeep of landscaped areas. - Monitor AMC contracts and vendor performance for horticulture maintenance. - Maintain documentation of plantation schedules, nursery stock, and maintenance records. - Ensure adherence to safety, sustainability, and environmental norms. Qualifications Required: - B.Sc / M.Sc in Horticulture or Agriculture. - Diploma / Certification in Landscape Management (preferred). In-depth knowledge of horticulture, landscape execution, and plant species, along with experience in irrigation systems, pest management, and soil improvement, will be essential for this role. Strong leadership and team-handling skills are necessary to work closely with civil and project teams during construction stages.
