Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Home Furnishings Textile Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for patterns, colors, textures, and finishes, with experience in creating designs for soft furnishings. You will collaborate with our design and merchandising teams to develop collections that reflect market trends and our brand’s identity.

Key Responsibilities

• Research global trends, colors, and textures in home fashion to design innovative collections.
• Develop original textile designs for upholstery, curtains, cushions, and other home furnishings.
• Create mood boards, concept sketches, and digital patterns aligned with seasonal themes.
• Work with CAD and textile design software (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar).
• Collaborate with the merchandising and production teams to ensure designs translate into quality products.
• Experiment with different finishes, weaves, and textures to enhance fabric innovation.
• Liaise with mills, printers, and suppliers to ensure design accuracy during sampling and production.
• Maintain an organized library of designs, colorways, and fabric swatches.
• Ensure all designs meet brand guidelines, cost requirements, and timelines.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Fashion & Textile Design, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in textile/home furnishings design (fresh graduates with strong portfolios may also apply).
• Strong sense of color, composition, and material trends.
• Proficiency in design software: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or textile CAD software.
• Knowledge of different fabric bases: cotton, linen, polyester, silk, blends, etc.
• Understanding of textile techniques like weaving, printing, embroidery, and surface finishes.
• Ability to balance creativity with commercial viability.
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented approach.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
