Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to lead our Computer Science Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in authoring computer textbooks and answer keys for school-level Computer Science, along with a sound understanding of curriculum standards and digital tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end development of Computer Science textbooks for primary to senior grades
• Write, review, and edit high-quality content, including exercises and answer keys
• Align all content with curriculum frameworks such as CBSE, ICSE, and State Boards
• Coordinate with content developers, graphic designers, and editors to ensure timely delivery
• Stay updated on the latest trends in coding, computer literacy, and digital tools in education
• Ensure pedagogical soundness, technical accuracy, and age-appropriateness of content
• Provide guidance to junior team members and ensure consistent content standards
• Collaborate with the production and marketing teams for final product delivery
• Strong expertise in Python, Scratch, HTML, AI, and Robotics.
• Solid understanding of CBSE, ICSE, and State board curriculum trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• 5–6 years of experience in authoring and developing computer textbooks and answer keys
• Prior experience in a publishing house or educational content company is essential
• Excellent writing, editing, and conceptualization skills
• In-depth understanding of school-level computer science curriculum and pedagogy
• Ability to manage multiple projects and lead a team effectively

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of educational tools and coding platforms (e.g., Scratch, Python, Blockly, HTML, AI, and Robotics)
• Experience with NEP-aligned curriculum and digital integration in learning
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Familiarity with design and publishing tools (InDesign, MS Office, etc.) is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
