Job Description

Role Overview: As the Head of Department (HOD) - Electrical Engineering at the company, you will be instrumental in leading the design, coordination, and successful delivery of intricate electrical engineering projects. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and development of electrical systems encompassing power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security, and communication systems. - Conduct client meetings to gather project-specific inputs and comprehend the detailed scope of each project. - Prepare Electrical Design Basis Reports and generate an Electrical load summary. - Size transformers and DG sets, conduct HT and LT side calculations, and design ELVS systems. - Calculate light lux levels, size cables appropriately, and plan cable tray routing effectively. - Develop technical specifications, liaise with internal departments, and oversee vendor drawing approvals. - Provide guidance to junior staff, nurture client relationships, and ensure successful project outcomes from the conceptualization phase through construction. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. - Possess 14 to 16 years of experience in Engineering Design Consultancy.
