Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Affairs & Product Safety

    • Develop new SDS in coordination with external consultants, ensuring accurate information gathering, review, corrections, and customization.
    • Handle customer queries related to SDS regulations and update SDS as required.
    • Periodically review and update SDS in line with regulatory changes and organizational requirements.
    • Perform administrative amendments to SDS for shipping and logistical compliance.
    • Administer and maintain the online SDS portal.
    • Monitor global regulatory changes affecting SDS and ensure compliance.
    • Prepare TREM cards and EIP labels for products.
    • Ensure correct labelling and GHS compliance across regions.
    • Provide training to internal stakeholders on SDS, labelling requirements, and GHS compliance.
    • Review supplier and customer questionnaires related to product safety to ensure regulatory compliance across regions.
    • Manage product registrations and certifications (INCI, NMPA, KOSHA, Halal).
    • Verify IMDG compliance and assign correct UN numbers and HS codes for new products.
    • Verify SCOMET, NDPS, and CWC compliance for products.
    • IMS & RC

    • Support IMS implementation and compliance tracking.
    • Coordinate external IMS & Responsible Care audits, and support internal audits.
    • Prepare MRM documents and track closure of audit observations.
    • Facilitate IMS internal auditor training.
    • Support Responsible Care initiatives, including product stewardship data, presentations, and award applications.

Additional Requirements:

  • Knowledge of 

    GHS, REACH, OSHA, IMDG, CWC, NDPS, SCOMET

    , and global chemical regulations.
  • Experience with international registrations (INCI, NMPA, KOSHA, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with 

    IMS, Responsible Care, and regulatory audits

    .
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present information to

    top management

    and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive and adaptable with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
