Position: Oracle DBA with AWS Website: https://www.datamatics.com/ Job Location: Bangalore (Bannerghatta - Kalyani Neptune) Work Mode: Work from Office Job Description: Responsibilities Understand the current application infrastructure and troubleshoot if any issue. Plan, organize, and manage infrastructure(Database,Servers,Cloud services) and team of engineers to ensure the stable and secure operation of the applications and provide necessary support. Collaboration with the customer infrastructure team for setting up different environments and managing the same. Database Administration: Oversee database design, implementation, and maintenance. Ensure data integrity, security, and availability. Perform database tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting. Manage database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans. Lead Oracle migration activities. Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions. AWS (Preferred): Good to have in developing, deploying, and debugging cloud-based applications by using AWS Past experience with cloud technologies(AWS) is a plus. Must have skills 1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2. 5+ years of experience in database administration. 3. Expert in SQL and Oracle in DB. 4. Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). 5. Basic experience with cloud platforms (AWS). 6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 7. Strong leadership and communication abilities. 8. Previous exposure to large-scale systems design. 9. Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems. 10. Knowledge of Dockerization and database management systems (DBMS).
