Hiring Non Production Procurement (NPP) and Direct Procurement

1. Responsible for indirect material sourcing and procurement including Capital Equipment and Services.
2. Non BOM Engineering Product Procurement including consumables /spares
3. Supporting for Service Level Agreements with Contractors including AMC
4. Maintain record of PR Process as input to MIS reports.
5.  Identification and qualification of new suppliers to balance the risk or reduce price or new materials
6.  Reviewing, understanding specification of indirect requirement.
7. Preparation and Handling of RFP/RFQ.
8. Interacting users for technical alignment Feedback to user for deviation of technical requirement
9. Preparing Cost comparison sheet, Cost benefit analysis to make buying decisions.
10. Knowledge of Taxation including GST,
11. Purchase knowledge of CAPEX, Fabrication, painting consumables, maintenance spares. Utility requirements
12. Strong Knowledge on MS office and reports
13. Supplier Evaluation and Auditing
14. Ensure on time delivery
15. Knowledge on ISO and TS Audit Requirements

1 Vendor Selection ,Audit and Evaluation

2 Plan and forecast material requirements based on timelines and production schedules.

3 Prepare and release purchase orders for materials, ensuring timely availability of resources.

4 Work closely with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best pricing, terms, and delivery schedules

5 Follow up with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and address any issues or delays.

6 Ensure that quality and quantity of materials meet requirements and specifications.

7 Manage and optimize purchasing processes, ensuring adherence to company standards and policies.

9 Improve procurement efficiencies and minimize costs through effective negotiation and vendor management.

10 Engage in negotiations with suppliers for project-specific purchases, ensuring cost-effectiveness while meeting quality and delivery requirements.

11 Work closely with the project management team to understand material needs and delivery expectations.

12 Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of raw materials and bought-out purchases.

13 Evaluate material quality, manage inventory levels, and coordinate material movement.

14 Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

15 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision making

16 Proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint

17 knowledge on Imports and Exports

18 Knowledge on ISO and TS Audit Requirements

19 Knowledge on GST
