SUMMARY Job Role: Mainframe With DB2 & COBOL Developer Location: PAN INDIA Experience: The ideal candidate will possess at least 7 years of relevant experience in Mainframe with DB2 & COBOL Development. Job Description: Develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and DB2. Analyze existing data feeds and code to extract business rules. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for legacy system analysis and modification. Provide estimates for tasks like feed creation and rule extraction. Contribute to modernization and integration efforts with distributed platforms. Required Skills and Qualifications: 7+ years of hands-on mainframe development experience. Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and IMS. Experience in reverse engineering legacy code and data feeds. Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Familiarity with change management and version control tools. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with mainframe modernization and integration projects. Exposure to DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, or automated testing frameworks. Nice to Have: Insurance domain knowledge. Requirements Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
